Think you're not creative...? Think again...!
Have you always yearned to create beautiful colourful creations? Have fun in the process? Be free and creative... BUT, think you CAN'T PAINT, or DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START...?!
ANYONE can paint with beeswax...! Easy enough for complete beginners, yet also challenging enough for experienced artists looking for a new medium...
My videos are designed as if you were doing a workshop with me in my studio, relaxed, fun, not perfect, but packed full of step by step tips and information.
Here's how it works:
First we go through the basics. Step by step tutorials, showing you how to set up your equipment, how to apply your first layer of wax and how to clean your iron.
Next, you will be shown how to create lots of beautiful shapes using different areas of your iron. Use the base, the edge, or the tip of the iron to create very different marks, experiment yourself and understand how to create those results.
After you've gained confidence in applying wax, and you're beginning to understand how to create textures, you're ready to pull all of those skills together and create your first monochrome fantasy landscape... I will take you through the process of building that picture, step by step. You can stop and start the video at your own pace, and follow along every step of the way.
Next, we'll move onto blending colours, lots more fun to be had understanding how to blend, and different ways to apply colour... Again, we bring it all together, this time, with a colourful fantasy landscape.
At this point, you will have a GREAT grasp of the BASICS.
Taking those skills further, in the last section of the course, you'll learn alternative techniques such as using your iron as a MINI HOTPLATE, and creating LARGE SCALE pieces if you want to take a step up.
By the end, you'll have learnt enough skills to confidently create beautiful unique creations of any size, we even cover tips for mounting and framing your wax, to hang on your wall...!
Every piece is totally unique, no two will ever be the same.
For added inspiration, upon enrolment, you will be invited to join the Arty Heaven Members only Facebook group, to ask questions, get feedback, watch Facebook Live videos, and find other encaustic wax hints and tips.
